Hi Mumma!
I am delighted you have found your way here.
I’m Emma, adoring mumma to my two darlings - Dustin and Callum, affectionate wife, chai lover and dedicated doula. We are lucky enough to call Hollywell on the Gold Coast our home and I am passionate about serving the mothers in our community.
As a doula, I wholeheartedly believe we have everything we already need within us to transcend this rite of passage into motherhood. But we were never meant to do it alone, and the modern system is simply not designed to protect, honour and nurture us through this realm.
My role is to be a grounded, gentle and loving guide to nurture, nourish and tenderly hold you on this most sacred of journey’s. Guiding you with love, support and the continuity of care that you so deserve. I like to call it continuity of emotional care because birth is less about the physical and so much more about the mental.
Being a Mumma of two, I have journeyed this realm and know first-hand how differently each experience can look, feel, smell, taste and sound. It left me yearning to rewild myself and walk with women through their journey.
I am the type of doula that asks questions, inspires, pre-empts and plants seeds - everything is approached in a way that is as preventative as possible. It isn’t about being useful when things go wrong. It is about helping people to plan appropriately, to feel as empowered as humanly possible, as an active participant in a process that is surely going to crack you wide open.
I am a self-confessed birth nerd all about following my divine intuition. I fell in love with birth and became exactly who it was I needed to be, and I am now so honoured to help other women on their journey’s too. Which has lead me here, to the sacred realm of birth work. And what an honour it is.
The work I do is more than just guiding you to create an experience centred around you, because the impact of this journey will ripple out through the rest of your life.
Next steps? Let’s meet!
For doula support, I believe taking the time for us to meet in person is so important for feeling into the relationship. We can meet at a cafe or share a picnic blanket and see where our vibes take us. This is a no obligation catch up.
