Placenta Encapsulation
One of my favourite ways to support families in the postpartum period is by tending to the placenta. Giving reverence to the powerful symbol of birth, spirituality, motherhood, fertility and life.
As a Mumma myself, who has reaped the rewards of my own placenta, I can definitely recommend that you are on the right track to optimising your postpartum journey.
Placenta Encapsulation has been practiced for centuries and is reported by mothers to help with;

Options
3 different methods for Placenta Encapsulation
The Traditional Method is borrowed from the principals of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which involves steaming with warming and tonifying herbs lemon, ginger and chilli. Those who choose this method tend to feel a more ‘gentle’ effect from their capsules.
The Raw Start Method skips the steaming part entirely and is dehydrated raw. Those who choose this method tend to feel the essence of the placenta is preserved and enzymes are retained, resulting in a more 'potent' effect.
Half and Half combines the two methods, allowing for you to be intuitively guided by what level of support you may be calling for on any given day. The capsules are clearly marked in separate jars.
Additional Add Ons
Placenta Tincture - A tincture made using a small piece of the placenta and 80 proof alcohol which is steeped for 6 weeks from preparation date. Offering a beautifully unique remedy of your very own to be used during times of stress and transition throughout your life. This intentionally prepared remedy will last a lifetime.
Placenta Print - A carefully curated keepsake using the blood from the placenta, printed onto artist paper, leaving a stunning tree of life image. The end result is then thoughtfully framed, calling you to honour the beautiful life-giving organ that was a source of nurturing for your baby inside the womb.
Cord Keepsake - serving as a potent reminder of the connection that will always be between mother and baby. A cord keepsake is the umbilical cord lovingly prepared into a chosen shape: perhaps a heart, the word ‘love’ or sometimes even baby’s initials is possible to create. Dried into shape and then gifted in an organic cotton keepsake bag. Can be painted gold or left naturally.
Placenta Balm - (also known as a placenta salve), is a perfect natural remedy for skin irritations, scrapes, burns, eczema, perineal or c-section scarring, haemorrhoids, and many other inflammatory skin conditions. It is slowly crafted using organic herbal ingredients and your dried placenta powder.

Step 3:
Collection and Delivery
Free collection and delivery on the Gold Coast within a 20km radius from Hollywell - TBC upon booking. Or a single $50 fee covering collection of the placenta and delivery of the finished package to your location on the Gold Coast (outside of the 20km radius). Delivery of your package is within 24-72 hours.
Alternatively, your placenta is able to be delivered and the finish package collected from my home studio in Hollywell (4216) at no additional cost.
